We therefore offer our customers the guarantee of garments made in an industrial way but with an entirely artisan care, entirely produced in the manufacturing district of Tuscany.
The flexible structure and integration within a well-rooted supply chain in the area allow us to meet every request: small samples, prototypes, private label production in small quantities or on a large scale.
MANUFACTURING AT KM 0 IN RESPECT OF THE ENVIRONMENT
Sustainability is important for the manufacturing sector and for this reason Ellemme has always invested in the search for industrial solutions that reduce the environmental impact of our activities and their products.
They chose to power the company with solar energy. Thanks to the installation of photovoltaic panels that allow us to cover almost all of our energy needs, they have drastically reduced the consumption of energy from non-renewable sources and consequently CO2 emissions. Their actions for sustainable knitwear production are not limited to the choice of energy sources. Elle-Emme is located in the center of the textile district of Tuscany, one of the most important manufacturing areas in Italy. This means that they can count on a real 0 km supply chain. They carry out most of the processes directly in our factory, but if necessary they collaborate with companies located a short distance away. In this way they minimize the CO2 emissions associated with the transport of goods and materials and at the same time enhance the professionalism of the territory.
Finally, they are convinced that saving energy is not enough. They are in fact aware that the choice of raw materials is essential to create a truly sustainable supply chain. For this reason, for some years now they have chosen to include in their collections also garments in regenerated yarns or produced from the recycling of plastic materials, to avoid waste and promote a circular economy. Their research and development activities are also constantly oriented towards experimenting with eco-compatible materials and processes, to constantly improve their environmental footprint.
